Gregor, a\u00e7\u0131klanamayan bir nedenden dolay\u0131 bir sabah insan v\u00fccudunda de\u011fil, hayat\u0131n\u0131 tamamen de\u011fi\u015ftirecek bir b\u00f6ce\u011fin v\u00fccudunda uyan\u0131r. Kafka bu eserinde okuyucuya, Gregor Samsa&#8217;n\u0131n \u00e7irkin bir b\u00f6ce\u011fe d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fmesiyle, ailesi u\u011fruna hizmet etme ve yard\u0131m etme i\u015flevine indirgenmi\u015f gen\u00e7 bir adam\u0131n imaj\u0131n\u0131 aktarmaktad\u0131r.<br \/><br \/>Bu d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm ayn\u0131 zamanda ailenin talep ve beklentilerine de bir protestodur. Bununla beraber toplumun ahlaki durumu bir bireyin kaderinde okuyucuya yans\u0131t\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.
