Dr. Y\u0131lmaz \u00d6zbek\u2019ten olu\u015fan bir komisyonunun, \u201c\u00fclkemizde gereksinim duyulan profesyonel k\u00fct\u00fcphanecilerin yeti\u015ftirilmesi gerekti\u011fi\u201d y\u00f6n\u00fcnde haz\u0131rlad\u0131klar\u0131 bir raporla g\u00fcndeme gelmi\u015ftir. Gerekli giri\u015fimlerin yap\u0131lmas\u0131 neticesinde, Y\u00d6K Y\u00fcr\u00fctme Kurulu\u2019nun 11.08.1994 tarihli toplant\u0131s\u0131nda 2547 Say\u0131l\u0131 Kanun\u2019un 2880 Say\u0131l\u0131 Kanunla de\u011fi\u015fik 7\/d-2 ve 2809 Say\u0131l\u0131 Kanun\u2019un 3. maddeleri uyar\u0131nca, Atat\u00fcrk \u00dcniversitesi b\u00fcnyesinde bir K\u00fct\u00fcphanecilik B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn a\u00e7\u0131lmas\u0131 uygun g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.<\/p><p>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki di\u011fer k\u00fct\u00fcphanecilik b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerinde oldu\u011fu gibi, Y\u00fcksek \u00d6\u011fretim Kurulu\u2019nun ilgili karar\u0131 ile b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fcn ad\u0131 da 2007 y\u0131l\u0131ndan itibaren Bilgi ve Belge Y\u00f6netimi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc olarak de\u011fi\u015ftirilmi\u015f ve \u00f6\u011fretim program\u0131 da bu do\u011frultuda yeniden yap\u0131land\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 2008-2009 y\u0131l\u0131nda 30 \u00f6\u011frenci ile lisans ve 2011 Bahar d\u00f6neminde y\u00fcksek lisans \u00f6\u011fretimine ba\u015flayan b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcm\u00fcz, 1 profes\u00f6r, 3 do\u00e7ent, 2 doktor \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi, 2 ara\u015ft\u0131rma g\u00f6revlisi doktor ile e\u011fitim-\u00f6\u011fretim, ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve yay\u0131n faaliyetlerini s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmektedir.
