Atatürk University has prioritized five of the United Nations ' Sustainable Development Goals in its preference of success zone. These are partnerships for good health and well-being, quality education, affordable and clean energy, life on land and partnership for the goals. The university will also determine other focuses and strategies to support these five areas.
Within this framework, some prioritisations are seen in the fields of Medicine and Health Sciences, Education, Science, Engineering, Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in the next tendency of Atatürk University.
Atatürk University has three main themes in priority areas. These include entrepreneurship and leadership, internationalization, and producing large-scale influence. Our University aims both to carry out innovations in higher education and to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem. It foresees serving its region and country by creating opportunities ranging from advanced technology entrepreneurship to social initiatives. It will also develop its internationalization through with international students, academics and activities. The third theme of our university is the continuous increase of the impact and scale of the activities carried out on a large scale with the help of digital technologies.
n our University, there are 35 Application and Research Centers and scientific meetings are held in accordance with the recommendations of internal and external stakeholders related to the research areas. Identified priority areas within this scope are as follows:
Atatürk University is competent in its region and has a significant position on a national scale with its strong academic staff, advanced technological facilities, and with its well-equipped physical infrastructure and improved research and application fields in Science, Health, Social and Educational Sciences, and Arts.
Atatürk University, aiming to maximize social contribution by integrating research outputs, considers developing and strengthening its research programs as its primary goal contributing to the regional and national economy with multi-disciplinary and solution-oriented, and to the universal science in terms of its national and international effectiveness, awareness and acceptability.
