Sosyolojinin T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;de e\u011fitim-\u00f6\u011fretiminde \u00f6nc\u00fc role sahip olan bu birim, toplumsal yap\u0131n\u0131n analizini ve sosyal olaylar\u0131n neden-sonu\u00e7 ili\u015fkilerini incelemeye odaklan\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn olu\u015fum s\u00fcreci, sosyoloji biliminin \u00fclkemizdeki k\u00f6kl\u00fc ge\u00e7mi\u015fine dayan\u0131r. Sosyolojinin temel ilkeleri ve metodolojisi, \u00f6\u011frencilere toplumun yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131, i\u015fleyi\u015fini ve sosyal de\u011fi\u015fimleri anlamalar\u0131 i\u00e7in gerekli ara\u00e7lar\u0131 sa\u011flar.<\/p>\n<p>Genel Sosyoloji ve Metodoloji b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fcn tarihi geli\u015fimi, sosyolojik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin evrimine paralel olarak ilerler. B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn kuruldu\u011fu y\u0131llarda, sosyolojinin disiplin olarak yerle\u015fmesi ve geni\u015flemesi s\u00fcrecinde \u00f6nemli bir role sahip oldu\u011fu s\u00f6ylenebilir.<\/p>\n<p>Bu birimin e\u011fitim-\u00f6\u011fretim faaliyetleri, \u00f6\u011frencilere toplumsal sorunlara duyars\u0131z olmama bilincini a\u015f\u0131lamak ve sosyal olaylar\u0131 analiz etme yeteneklerini geli\u015ftirmek amac\u0131n\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131r. B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn akademik kadrosu, sosyoloji alan\u0131ndaki uzmanl\u0131k ve ara\u015ft\u0131rma konular\u0131na ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak de\u011fi\u015fkenlik g\u00f6sterir.<\/p>\n<p>Atat\u00fcrk \u00dcniversitesi Genel Sosyoloji ve Metodoloji b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc, sosyolojik bilgi \u00fcretimi ve toplumsal sorunlar\u0131n \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc i\u00e7in \u00f6\u011frencilere gerekli ara\u00e7lar\u0131 sunmay\u0131 ama\u00e7lar.
