B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn k\u00f6keni, g\u0131da bilimi ve teknolojisindeki geli\u015fmelere paralel olarak ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn olu\u015fumunda, g\u0131da end\u00fcstrisinin b\u00fcy\u00fcmesi ve g\u0131dalar\u0131n i\u015flenmesi, korunmas\u0131 ve t\u00fcketiciye ula\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131na ili\u015fkin artan talebin etkili oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. Bu ba\u011flamda, g\u0131da i\u015fleme teknolojisi alan\u0131nda uzman personele ihtiya\u00e7 duyulmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>Atat\u00fcrk \u00dcniversitesi G\u0131da \u0130\u015fleme b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc, bu ihtiyac\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131lamak amac\u0131yla kurulmu\u015f ve e\u011fitim-\u00f6\u011fretim faaliyetlerine ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn akademik kadrosu, g\u0131da bilimi ve teknolojisindeki \u00e7e\u015fitli disiplinlerde uzmanla\u015fm\u0131\u015f ki\u015filerden olu\u015fmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn amac\u0131, \u00f6\u011frencilere g\u0131da i\u015fleme teknolojisi alan\u0131ndaki temel bilgiler ve uygulamal\u0131 beceriler kazand\u0131rmak, sekt\u00f6r\u00fcn ihtiya\u00e7 duydu\u011fu nitelikli elemanlar\u0131 yeti\u015ftirmektir. B\u00f6l\u00fcmde verilen e\u011fitim, teorik ve pratik bilgilerin birle\u015ftirilmesi ile sa\u011flanmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>G\u0131da \u0130\u015fleme b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde \u00f6nemli bir role sahip olan g\u0131da end\u00fcstrisinin \u00e7e\u015fitli alanlar\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fabilecek mezunlar vermeyi hedeflemektedir.
