Kud\u00fcs\u2019\u00fcn sosyal, dini, tarihi, co\u011frafi ve politik durumunu tan\u0131mlamak ve bu tan\u0131mlara y\u00f6nelik analizlerde bulunmak. Kud\u00fcs \u00a0\u00fczerindeki en son ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar ve elde edilebilecek en yeni literat\u00fcr\u00fc kullanabilmek. Kud\u00fcs\u2019e ait yeni kavramlar \u00fcretmek ve kavramlar \u00fczerine de\u011ferlendirmeler yapabilmek. Kud\u00fcs ve Beyt\u00fc\u2019l-Makdis \u00fczerine elde edilecek literat\u00fcr vas\u0131tas\u0131yla co\u011frafyan\u0131n ara\u015ft\u0131rma konular\u0131 \u00fczerinde anahtar yakla\u015f\u0131mlar geli\u015ftirebilmek. Kud\u00fcs\u2019\u00fcn co\u011frafyas\u0131, n\u00fcfusu ve vizyonu \u00fczerine terminoloji geli\u015ftirip tan\u0131mlayabilmek. \u00c7ok k\u00fclt\u00fcrl\u00fcl\u00fck i\u00e7in bir model olabilecek Kud\u00fcs ve Beyt\u00fc\u2019l- Makdis konsepti \u00fczerine \u00e7a\u011fda\u015f ve akademik olgular ile bu ba\u011flamdaki misyonu ve di\u011fer co\u011frafyalara yapaca\u011f\u0131 etkilere ait teorik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 y\u00fcr\u00fctebilmek. Kud\u00fcs \u015eehrindeki farkl\u0131 dinler aras\u0131nda olan tarihi ve g\u00fcncel ili\u015fkilerin tespitine y\u00f6nelik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar y\u00fcr\u00fctmek. Tarihsel s\u00fcre\u00e7te Kud\u00fcs\u2019\u00fcn idaresi i\u00e7in geli\u015ftirilen h\u00e2kimiyet anlay\u0131\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n<\/s>\u00a0ortaya koymak. Kud\u00fcs \u00fczerine M\u00fcsl\u00fcman ve oryantalist yazarlar\u0131n \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmal\u0131 tenkitlerini yapmak. Kud\u00fcs ile ilgili \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar \u00fczerine ele\u015ftirel ve analitik yetenekler kazand\u0131rmak. Co\u011frafya ile ilgili, ana \u0130slam kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n \u00fczerinden \u0130slam d\u00fcnyas\u0131ndaki manevi \u00f6nemini belirleyerek, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczdeki konumu a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan g\u00fcncel problemler, g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fler ve tart\u0131\u015fmalar \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ele\u015ftirel fark\u0131ndal\u0131k geli\u015ftirmek. Konular\u0131n analizleri i\u00e7in metodolojik yakla\u015f\u0131mlar i\u00e7erisinde sosyal, tarihsel, co\u011fraf\u00ee ve politik konseptler olu\u015fturmak. \u00a0Kentin mimari ge\u00e7mi\u015fi \u00a0ile geli\u015fimini ortaya koyabilmek i\u00e7in y\u00fczey ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 planlamak. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de Kud\u00fcs ve b\u00f6lge \u00fczerine yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 tespit ve aktar\u0131m\u0131na y\u00f6nelik akademik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara katk\u0131 sa\u011flayacak proje ve di\u011fer etkinlikleri ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmek. Yurt i\u00e7i ve yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda ilgili akademik kurumlarla ortak akademik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yapmak ve y\u00fcr\u00fctmek. Kud\u00fcs b\u00f6lgesi ile ilgili y\u00fcksek lisans ve doktora \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na destek sa\u011flamak ve \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi de\u011fi\u015ftirme programlar\u0131 d\u00fczenlemek. Kud\u00fcs co\u011frafyas\u0131 ile fiili irtibatlar sa\u011flayacak akademik i\u00e7erikli sosyal ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel organizasyonlar tertiplemek. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fma alanlar\u0131 ile ilgili ulusal ve uluslararas\u0131 projelerin yap\u0131lmas\u0131 amac\u0131yla faaliyetler y\u00fcr\u00fctmek. Konu ile ilgili yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ve birikimlerin gelecek ku\u015faklara aktar\u0131lmas\u0131 amac\u0131yla bir ar\u015fiv merkezi olu\u015fturmak. \u00dcniversite b\u00fcnyesinde b\u00f6lge ile ilgili ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve akademik faaliyet g\u00f6stermek isteyenlere akademik desteklerde bulunmak. Ulusal ve uluslararas\u0131 alanlarda yap\u0131lacak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda dan\u0131\u015fmanl\u0131k ve bilirki\u015filik hizmetleri vermek ve bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 y\u00fcr\u00fctebilmek amac\u0131yla hizmet sat\u0131n almak. Merkezin \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma alanlar\u0131na ait \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma gruplar\u0131 ya da birimler olu\u015fturmak. Akademik alanda Kud\u00fcs ve Beyt\u00fc\u2019l-Makdis\u2019i \u00a0 faaliyet alanlar\u0131 i\u00e7erisinde bulundurmakt\u0131r.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>
