B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn tarih\u00e7esi, \u00fcniversitenin kurulu\u015funa kadar uzan\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn kuruldu\u011fu y\u0131llarda, \u00fclkenin sanayi ve teknolojik alanda h\u0131zl\u0131 bir geli\u015fim i\u00e7ine girmesi n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 edilmi\u015f, bu s\u00fcrecin desteklenmesi i\u00e7in nitelikli i\u015fg\u00fcc\u00fc yeti\u015ftirmeye \u00f6nem verilmi\u015ftir. Makine ve metal teknolojileri alan\u0131ndaki e\u011fitim ve ara\u015ft\u0131rma faaliyetleri, \u00fclkenin end\u00fcstriyel kalk\u0131nmas\u0131na \u00f6nemli katk\u0131lar sa\u011flamay\u0131 ama\u00e7lam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Zaman i\u00e7inde b\u00f6l\u00fcm, \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyeleri ve teknik personelinin uzmanl\u0131k alanlar\u0131na ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak \u00e7e\u015fitli dallarda e\u011fitim vermi\u015ftir. \u00d6\u011frencilere teorik ve pratik bilgiler kazand\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, sekt\u00f6r\u00fcn ihtiya\u00e7 duydu\u011fu donan\u0131ml\u0131 ki\u015filer yeti\u015ftirilmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn akademik ve idari yap\u0131s\u0131, e\u011fitim-\u00f6\u011fretim faaliyetlerinin etkili bir \u015fekilde y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclmesini sa\u011flamaya y\u00f6nelik olarak tasarlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u00d6\u011frencilerin ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve proje \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na te\u015fvik edilmesi, b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn misyonunun \u00f6nemli bir par\u00e7as\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturur.<\/p>\n<p>Atat\u00fcrk \u00dcniversitesi Makine ve Metal Teknolojileri B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde de e\u011fitim-\u00f6\u011fretim ve ara\u015ft\u0131rma faaliyetlerine devam etmektedir.
