B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn tarih\u00e7esi, \u00fcniversitenin b\u00fcy\u00fcme ve geli\u015fme s\u00fcrecine paralel olarak \u015fekillenmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn kurulmas\u0131, h\u0131zl\u0131 geli\u015fen teknolojik ortamlarda veri biliminin artan \u00f6nemini kar\u015f\u0131lamak amac\u0131yla d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f ve planlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Veri bilimindeki h\u0131zl\u0131 ilerleme, bir\u00e7ok sekt\u00f6rde b\u00fcy\u00fck miktarda verinin \u00fcretilmesi ve bu verilerin anlamland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131 do\u011furmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>Bu ba\u011flamda, Atat\u00fcrk \u00dcniversitesi Veri Bilimi ve Analiti\u011fi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc, \u00f6\u011frencilere veri toplama,\u5206\u6790ve yorumlama becerileri kazand\u0131rmay\u0131 ama\u00e7lar. B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn amac\u0131, gelece\u011fin lider veri bilimcilerini yeti\u015ftirmek ve bu alanda yap\u0131lan ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara katk\u0131da bulunmakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn kuruldu\u011fu g\u00fcnden itibaren, akademik kadrosu ve altyap\u0131s\u0131 s\u00fcrekli olarak g\u00fc\u00e7lendirilmi\u015ftir. \u00d6\u011frencilere sa\u011flanan imkanlar ve b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn sundu\u011fu olanaklar, onlara sekt\u00f6rde ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 bir \u015fekilde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fabilecekleri bir zemin haz\u0131rlamay\u0131 hedefler.<\/p>\n<p>Veri Bilimi ve Analiti\u011fi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc, sadece teorik bilgiyi de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda pratik uygulama becerilerini de kazand\u0131rmaya \u00f6nem verir.
