This text, which has been prepared by the data controller Atatürk University, is intended to provide you with detailed information about the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ('KVKK'), the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Complied with in Fulfilling the Obligation of Clarification ('Communiqué') and all other requirements under the relevant legislation, and about our policies on the Protection of Your Personal Data.

Processing of Your Personal Data

Your personal data listed below, which you share with us via the Opinion Notification Form, is processed and recorded in order to learn your ideas and opinions about our university and to serve you better.
Your personal data (Name-surname, e-mail address, mobile phone number, type of message, information you share with us in your message) in the 'Opinion Notification Form' field on our website can be processed automatically and non-automatically in accordance with the principles set forth in Article 4 of the KVKK, provided that it is part of a recording system on the basis of legal reasons including 'When it is essential for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation, unless it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of relevant person and when the data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, which are specified in the Article 5 of KVKK.

Tansfer of Your Personal Data

Your Personal Data may be transferred to 'Authorized Public Institutions and Organizations', if requested, in order to fulfil our obligations regarding information and document sharing arising from the relevant legislation, as well as our other legal obligations. It can be shared with our 'Suppliers', from whom we get services, in order for your requests to be resolved and legal proceedings to be carried out on the basis of legal reasons including the protection of personal data, establishment and protection of a right and the legitimate interests of the data controller.

Rights

As the relevant person, you can exercise your rights over your personal data at any time listed in Article 11 of the Law to our data controller University. You can send your application regarding your requests to our e-mail address in written form via the e-mail address veri@atauni.edu.tr in accordance with the provisions of the 'Communiqué on Application Procedures and Principles to the Data Controller'.
