MUSEUMS
With its deep-rooted history, scientific accumulation, cultural heritage, and artistic values, Atatürk University operates with the mission of preserving and transmitting these treasures to future generations. The university continues its activities in education, research, and community service not only within academic platforms but also in social spaces that are accessible to all segments of society.
In this context, seven thematic museums established within the university are open to visitors of all ages. Spanning from science to art, health to communication, these museums serve as both educational and inspiring cultural hubs.

Biodiversity Science Museum
Showcasing the fascinating diversity of nature, the Biodiversity Science Museum houses specimens from various ecosystems of Turkey, especially the Eastern Anatolia Region. Featuring zoology, botany, and entomology collections, the museum aims to raise awareness on nature education, environmental consciousness, and sustainability. It offers a unique source of information for students, researchers, and nature enthusiasts.

Ata Ice Museum
The Ata Ice Museum holds the distinction of being the first and only ice museum established within a public university in Turkey. Displaying ice art created through cryogenic freezing technologies, it provides a unique museum experience. By blending science, art, and technology within an aesthetic framework, Ata Ice offers unforgettable moments in a cold environment.

Agriculture Museum
Presenting a broad perspective from the historical development of agriculture to modern production techniques, the Agriculture Museum features a rich collection ranging from traditional farming tools to contemporary agricultural machinery. It also highlights the impact of agricultural culture on social life, making it an informative discovery space for both students and the local community.

Hurufat Printing Museum
The Hurufat Printing Museum traces the history of printing, offering detailed historical narratives from the working principles of classical printing systems to the arrangement of letter molds (hurufat). Displaying original machines and techniques from the Ottoman period to the Republic era, the museum serves as a valuable resource in the fields of graphic design and communication history.

Hospital Museum
Shedding light on the evolution of healthcare from past to present, the Hospital Museum reflects the deep-rooted history of Atatürk University Research Hospital. Enriched with medical devices, health equipment, archival documents, and visual materials, the museum provides medical students, healthcare professionals, and visitors with an in-depth look into the history of medicine.

Communication Museum
Documenting the historical journey of visual and auditory media tools, the Communication Museum features thematic sections where radios, televisions, cameras, and vintage broadcasting equipment are displayed. Supported by the Faculty of Communication, the museum offers a nostalgic and educational experience for those interested in media history.

Fine Arts Museum
Bringing together various disciplines of art, the Fine Arts Museum exhibits works created by students and academics in fields such as painting, sculpture, graphic design, and traditional handicrafts. Supported by periodic exhibitions and art workshops, this museum serves as a dynamic platform that hosts diverse forms of artistic expression.
