REGULATION ONTHE TRANSFER BETWEEN THE ASSOCIATE’S DEGREE AND UNDERGRADUATE DEGREEPROGRAMMES, DOUBLE MAJOR-MINOR PRORAMMES AND MAKING INTERINSTITUTIONAL CREDIT TRANSFERIN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Internal transfer from foreign  higher education institutions to the domestic ones


ARTICLE 14 – (1)The quota for the transfer from foreignhigher education institutions can be determined by the Senate of theuniversitiesIn case of determining the quota,the quota of foreign higher education institutions for each programmes bycondition not to exceed half of the transfer quota between institutions, theapplications conditions determined by the Senate, interinstitutional transferquotas are reported to the Council of Higher Education  until the end of working hour on 30thJune.

All the foreign student quotas with the application conditions ofhigher education institutions and the assessment schedule are declared on theweb page of the council of higher education 

 (2) For transferring from the foreign higher education institutions todomestic higher education institutions, the transitional success conditions ofinterinstitutional transfer on the 2nd paragraph of the 12th article of thisregulation should be met.

(3) In the transfer from the foreignhigher education institutions, the students who have the minimum score of therelated grade of the diploma programme in the higher education institution towhich they want to be transferred can apply for the transfer without requiringthe success from all the courses they have studied abroad. The application forthe transfer of the students who are applied in this way is evaluated outsidethe scope of the foreign transfer quota , within the framework of theprinciples determined by the university senate.

 (4) In the application made from the universities abroad, theconditions which are sought is that the higher education institution and theprogramme they studied in should be recognized by the Higher Education Councilas an institution authorized to issue associate or undergraduate diploma andthe diploma programme the student registered should be accepted as equivalentto the associate or undergraduate diploma programmes by the related university.
