4 What is the Pathway for Appointing a Joint Consultant?
In cases where the nature of the thesis study requires more than one thesis supervisor, the second thesis supervisor to be appointed with the proposal of the head of the relevant department / arts department may be a person with at least a doctorate degree from another higher education institution in Turkey or abroad (see Application Principles. item: 9/2). The proposal of the department is decided by the institute board of directors.

6 When and When can a Registration Freeze Request be Made?
Applications to freeze registration are made within the first 10 working days of the semester on condition that the course registration is made (see Ataturk University Graduate Education Regulation, article: 19).

8 In Which Cases is Deregistration Done?
Student;
A. Failure to successfully complete the taken courses within the time period
B. If he has not delivered his seminar or has not been found successful by the deadline
C. If the thesis is not submitted within the maximum period of time, the registration of the student is canceled.
D. Apart from these, within the framework of the Regulation, the registration is deleted by the decision of the Graduate School Administrative Board.

Students who fail to deliver their seminars within 4 semesters will be disenrolled.

14 What are the Deadline for the Seminar, the Way to be Followed for Delivery and the Forms to be Filled?
The seminar must be submitted by the end of the 4th semester. The seminar work is uploaded to ÖBS by the student. The seminar work approved by the advisor is sent to the institute along with the relevant forms with a department cover letter.

15 Until when can I give a thesis proposal?
Thesis proposal is given until the end of the second semester.

16 What is the Path to Follow in the Thesis Proposal and the Forms to Fill in?
Students determine the subject of the thesis with their advisors. The thesis subject is registered in the National Thesis Center. The thesis proposal form is uploaded to the thesis proposal section in the ÖBS graduate activities tab and sent to the institute together with the department heading. 17 What is the Minimum and Maximum Delivery Period for a Master's Thesis?
The master's thesis can be submitted at the end of the 4th semester at the earliest, at the end of the final exams and at the end of the 6th semester at the latest.

18 What should be the total ECTS value of the courses taken by the student to be able to submit a thesis?
In order for the student to submit a thesis, the ECTS value of the courses taken must be 120.
