The "Orange Flag" award in the Venue Accessibility category was bestowed upon our institution as part of the "2023 Barrier-Free Universities Awards" coordinated by YÖK.

Bestowed by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) with the intention of promoting knowledge and encouraging exemplary approaches concerning the provision of physical facilities, educational prospects, and socio-cultural engagements for disabled collegiate students, the award was presented to the Institute administration by the Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.
