Hasan Demirci, a doctoral candidate in the Department of History at our Institute, specifically in the Department of History of the Republic of Turkey, successfully defended his dissertation, "Struggle Against Syphilis in Turkey (1908– 1933) from the Second Constitutional Monarchy to the Republic”. The dissertation was meticulously crafted under the guidance and supervision of Professor Dr. Selami KILIÇ. At 14:00 on February 14, 2024, at the conclusion of the defense meeting conducted using the hybrid method in the meeting hall of our institute, the student whose thesis was deemed successful was awarded the doctoral degree.
