FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF STUDENT CONTRIBUTION AND TUITION
You have to renew your registration within the dates which are determined in the calendar. If you do not renew your registration, you cannot attend the courses in that semester / year and this period is regarded as your study period. You cannot benefit from studentship rights.
If you enter for in the following semester and do not exceed study periods which are determined in the paragraph (c) of the 44th article, you can benefit from studentship rights.
If the students do not renew their registrations and do not deposit contribution and tuition, an action is taken as part of the provision in the temporary 67th article of the law numbered 2547 concerning with their registrations.
After you deposit contribution and tuition, if you give up the registration right, you cannot take back the fee which you have deposited.
You can deposit contribution / tuition through online banking or into the atm out-of-hours.
Contribution / Tuition is determined by the cabinet every year.
A different contribution fee for each faculty, college, vocational school and state consevatory is determined by the cabinet.
The students who do not pay contribution / tuition within its period are not registered and renewed. These students cannot benefit from studentship rights in the related semester.
The student’s graduation date is the day of his / her last exam in which he / she became successful. But, the students who cannot graduate because of the reasons such as internship, education based on industry, thesis, capstone project, diploma work, field work and the other reasons until this date graduate on the date when these works are finished and accepted.
The students who will graduate in the following year due to internship and the similar activites which do not require course registration do not pay contribution or evening education fee in the half year/year of that year. But, the students who benefit from the students rights pay contribution or evening education fee in the half year / year when they intern.
Except for the preparatory classes, the daytime students who are in the first %10 in the sorting which will be done at the end of the semester according to the success rating of the students who are successful in the minimum courses which are determined for each semester in their departments and that take these courses pay half of contribution in the following semester, while the evening education students pay in the following semester as much contribution as the daytime students will pay.
If the students in the first %10 overpay contribution or tuition due to any reason, from the date when %10 Turn in Slip is filled and delivered to Registrar’s Office Fee Chieftaincy, this amount is paid within 15 days.
