Mission
The main task of the Musicology Department is to train qualified people who the Republic of Turkey's need in music field. In this regard, the mission of our department is to train music researchers, academicians, compilers, music producers, composers, sound and instrumentalists that our country needs; The aim of this course is to introduce the source of universal and national music, the processes of historical development, and to provide students with a general culture that includes the methods and techniques necessary for research and investigation in this field.
