General Overview-History

Holding the peculiarity of being a unique institute in the Eastern Anatolia Region and being one of the institutes providing graduate education, Turkish Researches Institute is composed of History, Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Turkish Philology Departments. Conducting more systematic and programmable studies carried out in the fields of Turkish philology, Turkish dialects and Turkish history and studying topics primary to our country and region in research conducted at Turkish Researches Center holds great significance. Our Institute, which was established in accordance with the law no. 2809 published with the number 21281, 11.07.1992, in the Official Gazette, started to provide graduate education according to decisions taken by the Higher Education Council, 07.03.2017
