Atatürk University Eastern Anatolia Urban Projects Application and Research Center building was put into service with the participation of  Erzurum Governor Mr. Oktay MEMİŞ, Mayor of Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality, Mr. Mehmet SEKMEN and Atatürk University Rector, Mr. prof. Dr.Ömer ÇOMAKLI. 
ATA-DAKAM, which aims to identify multidimensional problems and problems experienced in cities in different subjects such as design, planning, economy, employment, education, health, agriculture and animal husbandry, and develop solutions in Eastern Anatolia Region, especially in Erzurum, offers academic activities such as workshops, seminars, competitions and exhibitions. In addition to its activities, it will provide project design and consultancy services.
