History

History Ataturk University Fine Arts Faculty was opened on the 16th of July, 1993, with the written decree of 2703th issue, according to the decision based on the change of decree of 47th issue about the 3837th issue, The Council of Higher Education, which was published in Official Gazette in 11th of July, 1992 The faculty started educating gradually after 1994 with divisions and the departments of art connected with these divisions. The courses were conducted within the building of Science-Literature faculty for a short time between “2003-2004” and the divisions and departments were in this faculty. Then, the divisions and departments moved to The Fıne Arts Faculty’s new building, partly constructed, in June, 2010.
