Born in Erzurum in 1968. He graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Mechanical Engineering Department in 1988. In 1992, he started to work as an instructor in Atatürk University, Erzurum Vocational School Automotive Program. In 2003, he completed his Ph.D in Atatürk University, Institute of Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering Thermodynamics Department and was appointed as a faculty member to Atatürk University, Erzurum Vocational School Automotive Program. Dr. Erdoğan served as the Head of the Department and also the Head of the Division. He was a member of the USIGEM advisory board. He worked as a manager and researcher in various scientific projects, including TÜBİTAK and BAP. There are about 40 national and international publications, papers and poster studies, and about 200 scientific citations in these publications. He served as Rector's Advisor between 2016-2018 and as Deputy Secretary General of Atatürk University between 2018-2022. Dr. Erdoğan, who was appointed as the Secretary General of Atatürk University on 01.07.2022, is married with four children.
