Scientific Evaluation Results of the Research Support Programs Presidency (ARDEB) 2021 1st Term 1001 Projects within the body of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) have been announced. According to these results, Atatürk University ranked 10th among 81 universities with 6 accepted projects.

247 1001 projects of 81 Universities were supported by TÜBİTAK and Atatürk University, which was accepted in this ranking with 6 projects it prepared, was among the top 10 universities.

In addition, with the project proposals given by Atatürk University, 5 1001 projects, which were decided to be applied until 30 July 2021 without waiting for the next term, were requested to be corrected by taking C++. On the other hand, one more project of Atatürk University was deemed worthy of support within the scope of TÜBİTAK 3501.

Many Criteria Are Considered

The output performance of the project coordinator within the scope of the previously supported projects, compliance with the priority area issues in the TÜBİTAK call planning and the increase in the Technology Readiness Level, projects directly related to the priority R&D and innovation issues within the scope of the Green Agreement Compliance, within the scope of Horizon 2020 Program, directly to Europe Criteria such as being a project coordinator on behalf of the relevant institution/organization, Multidisciplinary / Interdisciplinary projects, University-University cooperation created within the scope of the project proposal and University-Industry cooperation created within the scope of the project proposal, determination of the projects to be supported effect at the stage.

According to the Scientific Evaluation Results of the 1001 Projects, the academics who passed the project, faculty members of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Esra Tanriverdi Ecik, Prof. Dr. Nurullah Saracoglu, Assoc. Dr. Kader Dağcı Kıraşan, Professor of Veterinary Faculty. Dr. Mehmet Cengiz, Faculty Member of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Assoc. Dr. Ömer Yalçınkaya and Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education Faculty Member Dr. Instructor Prof. Seda Okumuş and Faculty Member, Faculty of Science, whose 3501 Project passed.

Rector Çomaklı: “We Produce Projects That Provide Added Value”

Congratulating the faculty members whose TÜBİTAK projects were accepted with the support of Atatürk University Project Development and Coordination Office, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said that the valuable work of academics would be appreciated by all authorities.

Rector Çomaklı, who stated that Atatürk University produced projects that would add value to the development of the country and be beneficial to the society, reminded that they value every project of the faculty members and conveyed that the goal is to rise to higher ranks with the new projects developed.
