THE THEATER PRODUCTION "TOWARDS THE REPUBLIC" WAS PRESENTED AND HOSTED BY ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY.

As a theatrical production developed in commemoration of the Republic's centennial, "Towards the Republic" was presented at the invitation of Atatürk University.

The play commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Republic was attended by various notable figures, including the rector of Atatürk University, Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin, Governor of Erzurum Mustafa Çiftci, Deputies Selami Altınok, Fatma Öncü, Mehmet Emin Öz, Prof. Dr. Kamil Aydın, and Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen as well as numerous theater enthusiasts were in attendance.

The War of Independence was initiated by the founder of the Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his comrades in arms, with the backing of the Turkish nation, as depicted in the one-act drama written and directed by Bora Severcan.

Minister Tekin stated in his speech following the performance at the Atatürk University 15 July National Will Hall that the actors have friends beyond acting.

Following the completion of an unfinished production, Tekin remarked, "My friends are also those standing behind me. In addition to acting, I express my gratitude to each of them as companions. Departing unresolved a conversation from four years ago can significantly diminish one's morale. Regaining that demoralization makes it challenging to embark on the road once more. Personally "I thank them for not declining me when I said 'Let's hit the road again."

Tekin observed International Women's Day on March 8 by presenting the flower he had received to Gülen Karaman, who played the role of a teacher in the play, subsequent to his address. Minister Tekin then recalled that the play's writer and director, Bora Severcan, was celebrating his birthday and extended his congratulations to the artist.

Rector Çomaklı said: "We Underwent Numerous Emotional Transformations Collectively,"

Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said, "We were happy to host such a play with such a high emotional charge on the 100th anniversary of our Republic." He further asserted that this priceless theatrical production, which was performed in Erzurum, a city with historical significance in the establishment of the Republic, was also beneficial in maintaining the audience's emotions. In his concise assessment of the theatrical production, Rector Çomaklı stated: "Our university hosted the performance "Towards the Republic," which was graced by the presence of our Minister of National Education, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin. We were extremely impressed by the play, which effectively portrayed the valiant struggle of our esteemed predecessors who resolutely safeguarded their homeland and nation amidst the most perilous circumstances, as well as the resurgence of a nation from its precarious state. "I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this beautiful theater show, in which we experienced many emotional changes together, and I wholeheartedly congratulate our actors."
