In addition to representatives of public institutions and quality and data management divisions from various universities, the event also featured discussions on strategic planning, quality assurance, performance-based budgeting, and digital integration.

The workshop, which was hosted by Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Öztürk, Rector of Hitit University, assessed the correlation between performance-based budget management and the strategic plan structure in higher education institutions. Participants discussed the current state of affairs and potential new model recommendations.

The following statements were made by Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, who evaluated the workshop: "Innovative and sustainable management models are inevitable for higher education institutions to keep up with the changing world."

Quality assurance, strategic planning, digital transformation, and performance-based budgeting are among the numerous subjects that necessitate a systematic approach. These seminars allow universities to evaluate their current circumstances and implement more robust strategies for the future. At Atatürk University, we maintain our quality-oriented management approach and prioritise collaboration in this regard.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu also stated that the IMAP4U project will be instrumental in the institutional development of universities and emphasised that the project's outputs will make lasting contributions to the higher education system.

The symposium concluded with a collective photo session following the sessions, during which suggestions for enhancing the strategic management processes of universities were deliberated.
