Atatürk University 2022 Scientific Incentive Awards found their owners with a ceremony held at the Office of the Rector. As a result of the evaluation of the applications made by the academicians within the framework of the relevant application principles by the Scientific Incentive Commission, 20 scientists were entitled to receive awards.

“We Reward Every Work That Will Carry Our University Forward”

Meeting with scientists at the Rectorate office, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı was accompanied by the vice-rectors. Rector Çomaklı stated that they support and encourage international publications and outsourced projects at the level of Q1, Q2, in line with the principle of "Respecting effort and appreciating success: Efforts are respected and successes are recognized", which is among the fundamental values of Atatürk University; He stated that the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, which is a route drawn to design the future of Atatürk University with a common mind, to create a vision of transformation, to determine the strategies and necessary action plans, continues without slowing down.

“Important Outputs Have Begun to Obtain”

Rector Çomaklı, who stated that this process gained momentum with Atatürk University being a Research University and that cultural transformation works with the units, which is the second phase of the project, continue at this point: “With the implementation of the designed systems as of January 1, 2020, significant outputs began to be obtained. It is clear that the studies carried out in this context will contribute to the establishment of a certain level of quality in all activities at our university and to the creation of sustainable quality assurance systems. The institutional development of our university will only be possible with the high belonging and devoted efforts of all its members. I fully believe that all of our members are willing to serve with self-sacrifice in line with common goals and objectives in order to move our institution forward. With these thoughts; I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our members who carry out these important works that will bring about a significant transformation for our university, and wish them success in their studies.”

The program ended with Rector Çomaklı awarding the academics who were entitled to receive scientific incentives.
