2022 CITATION SCIENTIFIC INCENTIVE CEREMONY WAS HELD

The Rector Professor Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı at Atatürk University bestows honors on faculty members whose scientific research garners citations that surpass the average.
During the 2022 Citation Scientific Incentive Ceremony, Rector Çomaklı convened faculty members whose publications garnered citations exceeding the average for this field of study, with the intention of encouraging them to further their scientific endeavors and contribute to the body of knowledge.

On July 15, the awards were presented to the faculty members by the professor at a ceremony conducted in the National Will Hall. The academics were commended by Prof. Dr. Çomaklı for their notable contributions and accomplishments in the field of science.

"We should increase the variety and quantity of our works further."

Rector Çomaklı emphasized that Atatürk University, renowned for its well-established infrastructure and scientific endeavors dating back to its inception, maintains a prominent standing. The university consistently strives to remain at the vanguard of projects, patents, publications, research and development, and activities that contribute to society's betterment, and stated that the studies conducted have effectively achieved this objective.

Rector Çomaklı: "In accordance with the adage "skill is subject to compliment," we never fail to acknowledge accomplishments. By holding this ceremony, we aimed to honor members of our faculty whose work garnered citations that surpassed the norm. We continue to publish in the extremely competitive field of scientific publications, but we must diversify and increase the quantity of our works. As we have done thus far, the university administration will continue to carry out its responsibilities at this time. "I thank you for representing our university with works that will have a say in the international arena, and I wish you continued success."
