HAPPY 24 NOVEMBER TEACHERS' DAY
Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı released a message on the occasion of 24 November Teachers' Day. Rector Çomaklı used the following expressions in his message:
"Our holy book begins with the commandment "Read"; "Even if the address of knowledge is China, do not hesitate to go and get it" guides us. Our teachers are the architects of the bright future of our country, who intend to produce the rapidly developing technology of the modern world, who intend to produce the technology of the future, who do not count where they are, who always work forward in order not to fall behind neither their friends nor their enemies.
It is our teachers who work with an indomitable and tireless effort to reach the level of contemporary civilisations and shape the young generations as 'the future' with their veteran hands.
As employees of the education community, we are proud and happy to see that each student we prepare for life takes its place in Turkey's new vision like the branches of a deep-rooted plane tree reaching to the future.
Undoubtedly, teachers lay the foundations of the Republic of Turkey, which strengthens its place in the world day by day. With this awareness, I congratulate all our teachers who have contributed to us on 24 November Teachers' Day..."
