Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı published a message on the occasion of November 24, Teachers' Day. Rector Çomaklı stated the following in his message: “The level of development of a country and its ability to be a modern country are measured primarily by how successful the educational system is. Preparing new generations for the future with the knowledge of the past is both a sacred duty and a national issue.
Every person has the labor, effort and devotion of many teachers, both in academic and humanitarian knowledge. Isn't that why “we become slaves of forty years to whoever teaches us a letter”.
On this occasion, we congratulate our teachers, whom we remember with love and respect before the head teacher Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on November 24th, and remember with mercy our precious teachers who left this world. "
