Within the scope of Atatürk University Health Research and Application Center Directorate, The draw for the Permanent Workers, Patient and Elderly Care Staff and Cleaning Staff to be employed via Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) Erzurum Provincial Directorate was carried out in the presence of notary.

To determine the main and reserve applicant from the list sent by Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR),  a draw was carried out in Ataturk University July 15 National Will Hall, in the presence of Erzurum Pasinler first notary Revasiye Velican. The draw was broadcast live on Youtube and the University's social media accounts due to the universal pandemic, Covid-19.

Both the main applicants list and reserve applicants list were determined by the draw during which 160 main cleaning staff members and 160 reserves were determined. During the draw, 135 main and 135 reserve personnel were also determined for the Patient Care and Cleaning staff.

Rector of Atatürk University, Prof. Ömer Çomaklı, who made an assessment before drawing lots, said that they feel very happy to bring new colleagues to healthcare professionals who fulfill an important task in this challenging process in the world. Rector Çomaklı: “Today, we are drawing lots for 295 staff assigned to our University Hospital by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan providing staff support to healthcare workers, who are at the forefront of the fight against the coronavirus in the world and in our country. We share the draw of the lot, which we have done quite transparently, with our candidate workers. Pasinler 1. Notary also records the whole process instantly".

Emphasizing that recruitment is an important step in terms of both service and employment, Çomaklı said: “Thanks to these recruitments, 295 families will be able to make a living. I would like to thank to our Minister of Health, our Deputies and everyone who contributed, especially our President.”

The results of the draws that continue throughout the day will be announced through the announcements panel on the university website after the notary public approval. Main applicants that are missing in their documents or make false statements and who do not submit their documents at the specified time will be replaced by reserve applicants.
