Tomography Time Reduced to Five Minutes
A new Computerised Tomography (CT) device with numerous features has been introduced by Ataturk University Research Hospital, one of the busiest emergency healthcare institutions in the Eastern Anatolia Region. This new device, which has been incorporated into the hospital's inventory, will have a substantial impact on emergency healthcare services.
In emergency services, the provision of rapid and dependable imaging is of the utmost importance in situations such as falls, collisions, traffic accidents, traumas, migraines, and strokes. The new CT device provides healthcare teams with a substantial advantage in emergency situations due to its sophisticated technological capabilities and rapid examination time.
A CT device that is distinguished by its high resolution and rapid imaging capabilities attracts attention.
The new Multi-Featured Computerised Tomography (CT) Device is distinguished by its features that are user-friendly for both patients and healthcare professionals. The device, which provides an environmentally favourable technology and accelerates diagnostic processes with its high resolution capacity, has a significantly lower radiation rate than previous devices. Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu stated that the device reduces the 15-minute imaging time to 5 minutes, stating, "Thanks to our multi-featured device, we will shorten the waiting times, serve more patients at the same time, and accelerate the treatment processes."

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu stated that the new device offers a significant advantage not only to patients but also to healthcare personnel who work with it continuously due to its low radiation rate. He also stated that the occupational hazards of the personnel will be reduced as a result.
During the introduction of the new CT device, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu addressed the hospital's transformation process, stating that "the replacement of old and dysfunctional devices has become a necessity." We introduced two state-of-the-art ultrasound devices to our hospital last week. We are currently enhancing the quality of our services by incorporating a new CT device. I am confident that this cutting-edge instrument, which prioritises the well-being of both our patients and staff, will be a valuable asset to our hospital for years to come. Our Healthcare Technological Transformation process will persist without interruption.
