OPEN AND DISTANCE EDUCATION FACULTY EXAMS WILL NOW BE HELD IN YÜKSEKOVA
In Hakkari's Yüksekova district, an additional critical educational requirement has been fulfilled. The Atatürk University Open and Distance Education Faculty (ATA-AÖF) exams were scheduled to take place in Yüksekova. Students and their families enthusiastically embraced this advancement.
Atatürk University has made the decision to establish a new exam center in Yüksekova in response to the challenges faced by students in participating in exams conducted in the Hakkari city center and the demands that exist in this regard.
"Equal opportunities in education are of paramount importance to us."
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, underscored the significance of the decision, stating, "We are delighted to take any action that will facilitate the lives of our students by upholding the principle of equal opportunities in education." The Yüksekova exam center's inauguration will offer significant financial and spiritual support to our students and their families in the region. At Atatürk University, we are resolute in our commitment to disseminate the illumination of science and education to every nook and cranny of our nation. I would like to extend my gratitude to all stakeholders and local administrators who have assisted in this process. I extend my best wishes to all of our students as they embark on this new phase, which commences with the make-up examinations.
"A Significant Development for the Future of Our Youth"
Vedat Çoğaç, President of the Yüksekova Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, stated, "Our students will no longer be required to travel long distances for the exam as a result of the sensitivity of Atatürk University." This decision will alleviate the burden on families and increase the commitment of our youth to education.
