AT ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY, JUSTICE MINISTER YILMAZ TUNÇ CONVENES WITH ACADEMICIANS.

Atatürk University hosted the "Academician Meetings" program, which Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunç attended.

In addition to Minister Tunç, the event was attended by Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, AK Party Erzurum Deputies Fatma Öncü, Mehmet Emin Öz, and Abdurrahim Fırat, Atatürk University Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Hasan Yılmaz, Prof. Dr. Bülent Çavuşoglu, Prof. Dr. Yüksel Göktaş, and Prof. Dr. Reyhan Keleş, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Mehmet Akarsu, AKP Provincial Chairman İbrahim Küçükoğlu, and numerous academicians. The event was organized to further strengthen the cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and universities.

Minister Tunç visited the Atatürk University Biodiversity Application and Research Center prior to the program and was provided with comprehensive information regarding the center's operations by the Center Director, Prof. Dr. Levent Gültekin. The center's research on Turkey's biodiversity and its contributions to the country were the subject of discussion during this visit.

Minister Tunç witnessed the program at the Atatürk University Biodiversity Science Museum Conference Hall and met with academicians following the visit. In the program, Minister Tunç discussed the role of universities in the process of enhancing the justice system and promoting social harmony, and he underscored the significant contribution that each scientific study conducted in the academic world makes to the country's development and advancement.

"The Scientific Research and Contributions of Academicians are of Great Importance in the Preservation of Justice"

The significance of scientific research and the contributions of academicians to the rule of law and the preservation of justice was underscored by Minister Tunç in his address. Additionally, he stated that their expectations of academicians are not restricted to academic publications, but also include the opportunity to enhance society's perception of justice.

Tunç stated that the Ministry of Justice is amenable to any form of collaborative work with universities, as it is of paramount significance to the more effective and efficient operation of the justice mechanism to collaborate with the scientific community. Minister Tunç concluded his address by emphasizing that universities are not merely educational institutions, but also hubs for the generation of ideas that will aid in the resolution of social issues. He also addressed inquiries that were posed at the conclusion of the program.
