Prof. Dr. Abdulhalik Karabulut, Rector of Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University, visited Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu in his office and extended his best wishes for success in his new position.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Karabulut expressed his satisfaction with the appointment of Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu as rector and emphasised the university's pioneering role in education and its deep-rooted history. The two universities can also contribute to the region's development by fostering greater collaboration in the scientific and academic areas, he also stated.

Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu expressed gratitude to Karabulut for his gracious visit and underscored the significance of the collaborative projects that the two universities will undertake. Atatürk University is in close contact with all neighbouring universities as a result of its regional mission, according to Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, who discussed the possibility of conducting collaborative studies with his counterpart. He is confident that this unity will be further fortified by the forthcoming measures.
