The esteemed Akyel, who serves as a distinguished member of the Constitutional Court, had the honour of being invited as a guest by the esteemed Rector Çomaklı.

Arriving in Erzurum to participate in the "Supporting the Effective Implementation of Decisions in the Field of Fundamental Rights" Program organized by the Constitutional Court, Member of the Constitutional Court Assoc. Dr. Recai Akyel visited Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.

The esteemed Rector Çomaklı, who conveyed his utmost contentment regarding the visit to the Rectorate's office, proceeded to disseminate pertinent details pertaining to the collaborative endeavours undertaken with his guest. Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı asserts that significant attention has been devoted to both Erzurum and the nation's higher education since assuming office. He highlights the successful execution of quality procedures, which have notably enhanced the educational standards of the university, ultimately leading to the prestigious designation of a Research University.

Çomaklı has expressed that the institution is diligently progressing towards the future through its provision of high-quality education and the employment of proficient academic personnel. Furthermore, it has been emphasized that this venerable university shall be propelled forward, in collaboration with all its stakeholders, through the implementation of strategic measures and the conception of innovative projects in the forthcoming phase.

Constitutional Court member Associate Professor, Dr. Recai Akyel expressed profound elation regarding his presence in his cherished hometown of Erzurum. He conveyed that he has had the privilege of visiting Erzurum on numerous occasions, and with each visit, he has witnessed the remarkable advancement of Atatürk University. This commendable progress has propelled the institution to a level where it can confidently engage in global competition. In acknowledging the significant role of Atatürk University in its region and nation, it is duly recognized that the institution has effectively discharged its responsibilities through a process of transformation. In the presence of Rector Çomaklı, Assoc. Dr. Akyel extended well-wishes for success and ease to the entire academic community of the university.

The visit was concluded with Rector Çomaklı graciously providing his esteemed guest with an insightful tour of the recently inaugurated facilities, while simultaneously enlightening them about the ongoing scholarly endeavours being undertaken within said units.
