The registration renewal process for students of the Open and Distance Education Faculty (ATA-AÖF) at Atatürk University is ongoing. The final registration renewal date for intermediate students (grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th) has been set for October 25, 2024. It is crucial for students to activate their registrations in order to ensure that the registration renewal procedure is completed efficiently and punctually.

Steps for Renewal of Registration

After paying the material fees, intermediate class students can first renew their registrations by selecting their courses through the Atatürk University Student Information System (OBS). Upon logging into OBS, students may finalise their course selections by selecting the "Taking Courses" tab from the left menu under the "Education" section. Consequently, students will be activated for the academic year 2024-2025.

The ATA-AÖF website will provide students with the ability to readily access their courses through the Learning Management System (ÖYS), ATA AÖF Hybrid, ATAAOF OYS, and AtaMeta applications, in addition to OBS.

The Open and Distance Education Faculty at Atatürk University is a robust structure that attracts a diverse student body, as emphasised by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu in his assessment of the registration renewal process. He stated, "Our students have the opportunity to access quality education from any location due to the educational services provided by our university using modern technology." Distance education is a paradigm that is capable of adapting to the swiftly evolving circumstances of the present day. It is imperative that our students renew their registrations promptly and maintain an active participation in their lessons at this juncture. Additionally, we are prepared to offer our students all the support they require to surmount any obstacles they may face during their academic careers.

Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu also stated that the success of students is positively impacted by the convenience of access afforded in distance education. He also stated that Atatürk University will continue its work in this field with determination.

October 25th is the deadline for registration renewal.

The Open and Distance Education Faculty of Atatürk University issued a statement, emphasising that registration renewal procedures should not be postponed until the last minute. The faculty advised students to seek technical assistance and guidance from the faculty during this process.

Registration renewal procedures will conclude on October 25, 2024, and students who fail to renew their registrations by this date will forfeit their entitlements to enrol in courses and take exams.
