At Atatürk University, which has gained a new face with the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, the units adapt to this transformation by renewing and developing themselves.

In this context, as a result of the interim audit carried out on 04.11.2021 by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) and the IAS accredited Inspect company, which provides certification services, Atatürk University Information Technology Department (BAUM) ISO 27001:2017 (Information Security Management System) and ISO 9001 :2015 (Quality Management System) certificates are entitled to be renewed until 16.09.2022.

ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, which helps organizations become aware of their information assets, understand the importance of their assets, identify and manage their risks and ensure business continuity, also prevents unauthorized or unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, destruction, damage and seizure of information. In order to prevent unwanted threats and dangers, necessary security analyzes are made and measures are taken.

The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, which is prepared on the basis of the principles of leadership, employee participation, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management, defines it as the provision of valid legal conditions.
