ATAÇOCUK STARTED FACE TO FACE EDUCATION

In order to continue research and application studies on child and science education in the light of the principle of lifelong learning, to ensure continuity in the decisions and practices and to ensure equality of opportunity for all students, Founded under the leadership of Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Child and Science Education Application and Research Center (ATAÇOCUK) started to support face-to-face education.

Stating that the ATAÇOCUK Center, which took a break from its educational activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, started to provide educational support to the students, Prof. Dr. Ali Sinan Bilgili noted that within the framework of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project initiated by Prof. Dr. Çomaklı, the center carries out activities with the aim of providing educational support especially for disadvantaged groups.

Stating that courses are organized for primary, secondary and high school students in the center, Bilgili stated that suitable study environments are created for students, they get aid for their homework and the course subjects are supported.

Stating that the ATAÇOCUK Center was established in order for Atatürk University to become one of the leading universities in children and science education and to create a new educational philosophy in this direction, Rector Çomaklı underlined that such activities will make a significant contribution to the education system of our city and our country, especially during the current pandemic period. He emphasized that all students can benefit from it.
