ATASAM AND DATAEM SIGNED PROTOCOL FOR JOINT STUDIES

Contributing to the development of the country by signing protocols on various issues with representatives of public institutions and private sector, Atatürk University continues its activities in coordination with its units.

Within the scope of these agreements, a protocol was signed between Atatürk University Astrophysics Application and Research Center (ATASAM) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies, Eastern Anatolia Agricultural Research Institute (DATAEM).

On behalf of ATASAM Director Prof. Dr. Cahit Yeşilyaprak and on behalf of DATAEM Director Prof Dr. Şerafettin Çakal, at the signing ceremony with the participation of ; An agreement was reached to engage in R&D and scientific cooperation in order to encourage and develop mutual cooperation and, when necessary, the common use of related infrastructures.

Within the scope of the signed agreement, the parties will open the existing campus and technical infrastructures for scientific and R&D studies on agreed common issues and projects, in a way to use the infrastructures efficiently and to the extent of infrastructure possibilities, necessary information about joint work will be shared, and technical team visits will take place.

DATAE will enable the use of the cold environment system and test data in the Cold Endurance Test Center, and ATASAM will ensure that the infrastructures (area at an altitude of 3170 m, local and satellite meteorological system, electricity, internet) and test data in the existing campus under its responsibility will be used for joint studies or projects.
