ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY MET WITH COMPETENT SCIENTISTS AND LEADING PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES FROM OUR COUNTRY AND NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES AT THE 13TH INTERNATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY CONGRESS IN ANTALYA
The 13th International Pharmaceutical Chemistry Congress, which was conducted in Antalya from 6-9 February and is regarded as the most significant organisation in the field, was organised in collaboration with the Chemists Association, Gebze Technical University, and Atatürk University.
Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu delivered the inaugural address at the congress, which was attended by nearly 600 national and international scientists, academicians, and industry representatives.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu declared that Atatürk University will persist in its scientific research in this area with a resolute attitude in the future. He also emphasised that scientific activities and academic collaborations are integral to the university's mission to generate and disseminate knowledge.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu: "Our University is a leader in academic and industrial collaborations in the fields of chemistry and pharmaceuticals."
Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu underscored the scientific advancements in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry and articulated the academic mission and pioneering role of Atatürk University in this field. He stated, "As Atatürk University, our primary objective is to utilise science and technology to benefit society." The objective of our research and development endeavours and academic research in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry is to provide support for innovative health solutions and to benefit humanity. Our university is a leader in the development of academic and industrial partnerships in the fields of pharmaceuticals and chemistry, in conjunction with our significant research centres, including the Eastern Anatolian High Technology Research and Application Centre (DAYTAM).
The Atatürk University Project Development Office Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Serdar Burmaoğlu, and Vice President and DAYTAM Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilal Nişancı, participated as the organisers of the congress. Atatürk University demonstrated its scientific potential by actively participating with the stand it established. At the congress, participants were presented with the most recent advancements in pharmaceutical chemistry, as well as innovative studies conducted at the university's pertinent centres.
The scientific presentations and collaborations that took place during the congress served to bolster the international reputation of Atatürk University in this field. Atatürk University's academic productivity and connections to the sector were also enhanced by the congress, which facilitated the exchange of scientific knowledge and international collaborations in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry.
