Atatürk University 2022 Scientific Incentive Awards found their owners with a ceremony held at the Office of the Rector. As a result of the evaluation of the applications made by the academicians within the framework of the relevant application principles by the Scientific Incentive Commission, 25 scientists were entitled to receive awards.

“New Generation University Project Plays an Active Role in All Processes”

Meeting with scientists in the office of the Rector, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı was accompanied by the vice-rectors, and the awards were presented to the scientists.

Rector Çomaklı stated that they support and encourage patents and projects as well as international publications and outsourced projects at the level of Q1 and Q2, in line with the principle of "Respecting effort and appreciating success: Efforts are respected and successes are recognized", which is among the fundamental values of Atatürk University. He stated that the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, which was defined within the scope of the New HEC system, which is described as the "New Higher Education Council," and which was initiated with reference to important developments, plays an active role in all processes at Atatürk University, including education, research and community service.

Rector Çomaklı stated that the rapid developments in technology and the changing and diversifying needs directly affect higher education; He said that as Atatürk University, work continues to adapt to this change, to design its future with a common mind, to create a vision of transformation, to determine the strategies and the necessary action plans for this.

“I Believe All Our Members Desire To Serve with Sacrifice”

Rector Çomaklı pointed out that Atatürk University's recognition in the national and international education community has increased with the fact that it won the Research University label: “Our academicians are striving to bring our city and university to the fore with their valuable projects. The institutional development of our university will only be possible with the high sense of belonging and self-sacrificing efforts of all its members. I fully believe that all of our members are willing to serve with self-sacrifice in line with common goals and objectives in order to move our institution forward. With these thoughts; I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our members who were deemed worthy of the scientific incentive award, which is an indicator of supporting the knowledge production and researcher human resources of our university, increasing the production of qualified knowledge and encouraging the production of scientific knowledge, and wish them success in their studies.

The program ended with the awarding of the academicians who were entitled to receive scientific incentives and the taking of a souvenir photo.
