Atatürk University was awarded by the European Commission with the ERASMUS Declaration for Higher Education 2021-2027 (ERASMUS Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) 2021-2027) Quality Certificate.

Stating that Erasmus + student mobility continues in the Fall and Spring Semesters of the 2020-2021 Academic Year, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said that in line with the vision of New YÖK and within the scope of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, the university continues to work in accordance with its internationalization mission.

Stating that students should study at a higher education institution holding an Erasmus Charter in order to participate in the activity, Rector Çomaklı stated that in order to obtain this right, students should apply to the higher education institution they study and participate in the selection process in line with the activities carried out within the scope of the Erasmus + Program.

Stating that they provide world-class education, Rector Çomaklı reminded that Atatürk University, which is taking firm steps towards its goal of becoming one of the world's recognized and respected universities, has actively participated in the Erasmus Program since the 2003-2004 academic year.

The Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sözbilir and Foreign Relations Office Coordinator Prof. Dr. Taşkın Öztaş presented the ECHE Quality Certificate to Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.

What is the Erasmus University Statement?

Erasmus Charter for Higher Education award (ECHE), which will be valid between 2021-2027, is one of the three main activities of Erasmus + in a Program country; it is a prerequisite for all higher education institutions  aiming to participate in any of their cooperation and policy reform activities and learning mobility of individuals for the exchange of innovation and good practices.
