The University Ranking by Academic Performance Laboratory (URAP) has disclosed the 2024-2025 rankings of Turkey's most exceptional universities. Consequently, Atatürk University maintains its status as one of the "Best Universities" by rating ninth in the ranking of state universities and eleventh in the ranking of foundation universities.

The data published by Clarivate Analytics/InCites and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) was the foundation of URAP's assessment of Turkey's top universities. The classification system considered a variety of factors, including the number of articles and citations per faculty member, the total number of scientific documents, the number of international and domestic joint articles, the number of projects received from TÜBİTAK, and the rate of doctoral students.

Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the 2024-2025 URAP Turkey Ranking, stating that the success graph is on the rise. He further stated, "In this process, where we continue to work with the title of research university, we continue to be proud of the successes achieved." The results of the measures we implemented to enhance the quality and quantity of our research outputs were evident in the increase in the total number of publications and projects, the number of citations, the number of doctoral graduates, and the evaluation reports generated by a variety of organizations. I am confident that we will maintain the trajectory we have established with our research performance as Atatürk University and that we will be able to achieve a higher ranking.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu emphasized that the University is capable of competing with the world due to its modern infrastructure and qualified academic staff.
