ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY ERASMUS PROJECTS GRANTED WITH HIGH BUDGET

Turkey's National Agency for Higher Education Mobility Period 2020 with Partner Countries in the area (KA107) and the Mobility Program Countries (KA103) Application Project announced the results.

Accordingly, ERASMUS Mobility with Partner Countries (KA107) and Mobility with Program Countries (KA103) Projects prepared by Atatürk University and carried out by the Foreign Relations Office were granted with a total of 321 thousand 505 Euros.

Atatürk University, which was entitled to receive the grant amount of 115 thousand 755 Euros within the scope of Mobility-KA107 projects with Partner Countries in the Field of Higher Education in the 2020 Project Period and 205 thousand 750 Euros within the scope of the Program Countries and the Mobility-KA103 projects, is among the highest budget universities with a total of 321 thousand 505 Euros.

Foreign Relations Office Coordinator Prof. Dr. Taşkın Öztaş, of the projects submitted to the Center for European Union Education and Youth Programs by Atatürk University Foreign Relations Office Coordinator; He shared the information that within the scope of the Erasmus + KA107 Mobility activity, it was granted with 6 country projects, including the USA, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Jordan, Lebanon and Malaysia, in the 2020 Project Period as in 2019.

Prof. Dr. Taşkın from Ataturk University explained that the university that is entitled to eceive the largest budget for Ukraine, has also been awarded a grant for Malaysia in the Asian group, and both Jordan and Lebanon from the Southern Mediterranean.

Rector Çomaklı: "We Have Rise in Internationalization"

Pointing out that Atatürk University attaches great importance to internationalization within the scope of the "New Generation University Design and Transformation Project", Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that Atatürk University has a high potential in terms of being an international center of attraction, and that a significant momentum has been gained recently with the bilateral agreements and the mobility programs carried out.

Rector Çomaklı stated that young people are volunteers in projects that benefit society in their own countries or abroad, and the Foreign Relations Office aims to be a new European Union initiative aiming to meet the social needs in the region and said: “Under the current Erasmus + Solidarity Program, formerly known as European Voluntary Service. significant value will be added to the personal development of the young people going abroad with the volunteering program and other EU financing programs. We intend to achieve a strong international dimension both abroad and domestically. "
