Afyonkarahisar Kocatepe University hosted the Inter-University Football Super League Promotion Competitions as part of the 2024-2025 activity program of the Turkish University Sports Federation. In the organization where 12 institutions competed fiercely, Atatürk University garnered attention with its exceptional performance and was awarded the Super League visa as the champion.

 Ankara University was defeated by Atatürk University with a resounding 4-0 score in its inaugural match. Atatürk University is situated in the same Group B as Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University and Ankara University. It also emerged as the unblemished leader of the group by defeating Alanya Keykubat University 1-0 in the second match of the group.

 The blue-white team, which put on a goal display against Kırıkkale University in the quarterfinals, exited the field with a 4-0 victory. Dadaşlar defeated İstanbul Gedik University in the semifinals, winning the match 1-1 in ordinary time and 5-3 on penalties to advance to the finals.

 In the final, Atatürk University emerged as the tournament's champion and secured a spot in the Super League by defeating its formidable adversary, Kocaeli University, 1-0. Eren Özdemir scored the winning goal. The team, which was supervised by Technical Director Gökhan Atasever and his assistant Kemalettin Seren, was highly praised for the combative spirit and game discipline they exhibited throughout the tournament.

 Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, conveyed his immense pride in the accomplishments that have been achieved. The disciplined work of our students and the support our university provides to athletics are the reasons for the exceptional success that our football team has achieved. These accomplishments serve as further evidence that Atatürk University maintains a robust presence in all disciplines.

 The championship cup was returned to Erzurum by the team, who were greeted with great enthusiasm on the university campus. The team's performance in the Super League is eagerly anticipated.
