Atatürk University, which participated in many national and international fairs, took part in the 15th International Defense Industry Fair IDEF 2021, which was held under the auspices of the Presidency and hosted by the Ministry of National Defense between 17-20 August.

The authorities informed the visitors about the studies carried out at Atatürk University, which participated in IDEF 2021 with the Eastern Anatolia High Technology Research Center (DAYTAM), ATA TEKNOKENT and the Atsrophysics Research and Application Center (ATASAM),

At the IDEF 2021 Fair, the university units, which directly contacted the relevant departments of the participating companies and talked about the possibilities of cooperation, also planned the joint work that can be done for the domestic and national technology move.

Stating that the participation of Atatürk University's DAYTAM, ATA TEKNOKENT and ATASAM units, which have achieved many technological successes, to IDEF 2021 is pleasing, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı emphasized that these units have the capacity to serve the National Defense Industry through joint efforts.

Reminding that the Eastern Anatolian Observatory (DAG) Project, which is one of Turkey's 2023 Vision Projects, which is carried out by ATASAM in particular, is approaching the end, Rector Çomaklı said that at the end of the project, Turkey will almost be a gateway to space.
