EDUCATION PROTOCOL SIGNED BETWEEN ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY AND ERZURUM BAR ASSOCIATION
Continuing to support inter-institutional collaborations with its academic, scientific and well-equipped infrastructure, Atatürk University signed a new protocol with the Erzurum Bar Association.
Cooperation protocol for postgraduate education organized between Atatürk University Rectorate and Erzurum Bar Association Presidency was signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı and the President of the Bar Association Talat Gögebakan.
Within the framework of the protocol, lawyers registered in Erzurum Bar Association will be able to benefit from the graduate programs carried out at Atatürk University in order to contribute to their professional and academic development.
Lawyers registered in Erzurum Bar Association will be able to apply to the quota to be opened within the scope of the institution quota, according to the application conditions determined by Atatürk University, for the graduate education programs opened in the departments within the scope of the graduate education institutes with the agreement covering the master's with thesis, doctorate and proficiency in arts programs.
“The Protocol Will Contribute to Many Law-related Sectors”
Stating that they care about the cooperation with non-governmental organizations and that they believe that the protocol signed with Erzurum Bar Association for this purpose will be instrumental in beneficial studies, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı reminded that they have carried out joint projects with Erzurum Bar Association that will contribute to many groups working in the field of law in Erzurum and said that they will continue to work in unity and solidarity in the next process. Noting that these efforts will contribute to both the city and the University, Rector Çomaklı added that the doors of the university are open to all walks of the city and that they will be happy to carry out joint studies and cooperation with all stakeholders.
Stating that the protocol will bring significant gains to the Erzurum legal community and that it will bring the academic knowledge of the University together with their own community and give a significant impetus to their colleagues, Bar Association President Talat Gögebakan said that lawyers practicing their profession will have more academic and scientific knowledge in their fields with postgraduate education. He said that they will closely follow the developments in the international arena. Gökebakan thanked Çomaklı for his sensitivity towards this cooperation and wished that the protocol would be beneficial to the city with the two institutions.
