COOPERATION BETWEEN ATATURK UNIVERSITY AND MANAS UNIVERSITY IS STRENGTHENING
The "TURK 2025: 1st International Manas Science and Technology Congress" that took place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, offered a chance to foster scientific collaborations and the development of educational infrastructure.
The TURK 2025: 1st International Manas Science and Technology Congress, which was organised in collaboration with Atatürk University and Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University, not only facilitated the convergence of the scientific community, but also expanded the educational partnerships between the two brotherly nations.
The negotiations were finalised, and a protocol was signed to designate Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University as one of the new exam centres within the Atatürk University Open and Distance Education Faculty (ATA-AÖF) international exam practices. The ATA-AÖF Exam Coordinator was determined to be Manas University, a university located in Kyrgyzstan-Turkey.
Representatives of Atatürk University and officials from Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University have expressed their intention to facilitate this collaboration through student exchange programs and collaborative initiatives.
Bishkek is the beating heart of the scientific world.
In the fields of engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, and agriculture, a total of 103 scientific papers were presented by distinguished scientists from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Japan, Malaysia, Iran, Poland, Greece, China, and India as part of the congressional proceedings. Furthermore, the participants were treated to the knowledge and experiences of distinguished experts from four continents: Prof. Dr. Önder Metin (Turkey), Prof. Dr. Hirofumi Tanaka (Japan), Dr. Azmi Awang Md Isa (Malaysia), and Dr. Hamed Niroumand (Poland).
Scientific Cooperation on the Silk Road
This significant scientific conference, which took place in Bishkek, a city situated in the centre of the ancient Silk Road, served to fortify the cultural and academic bonds between the two fraternal nations. It also conveyed a powerful message that scientific production on a global scale is feasible through solidarity. The Atatürk University administration expressed gratitude to all academicians, participants, and supporting institutions who contributed to the organisation of the congress and pledged to further expand their international scientific collaborations.
