ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY ADDED A NEW ONE TO ITS COOPERATION PROTOCOLS

During their third visit to Erzurum for the Northeast Anatolia Career Fair (KUDAKAF'23), managers of the TUI Hotels & Resorts Hotel Chain signed a protocol with the Faculty of Tourism at Atatürk University with the intention of expanding employment and career prospects in the tourism industry.

Attending the protocol at the Atatürk University stand in the KUDAKAF'23 event area were the Turkey Manager of the TUI Hotels & Resorts Hotel Chain, Atty, and Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı. In attendance at the signing ceremony were also TUI Human Resources Director Satı Murat Demirer and Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Prof. Dr. Gökalp Nuri Selçuk.

Şahinalp expressed his delight at being in Erzurum and Atatürk University, the epicenter of winter tourism, as a result of the cooperation protocol. He further stated that KUDAKAF'23 is an exceptionally beneficial occasion for both students and graduates.

Şahinalp further expressed the possibility that the signed protocol occurred concurrently with a major organization like KUDAKAF'23. The company, which operates more than 400 hotels globally and 17 hotels in Turkey, in addition to tour operator and travel agency operations, is a globally recognized tourism powerhouse. According to him, TUI, an organization that operates in the tourism industry as well, intends to provide apprenticeship prospects to students enrolled in the Faculty of Tourism within its operations.

"This collaboration will aid in elevating the visibility of our faculty," said Rector Çomaklı.

Declaring that the signing of a protocol with the TUI Hotels & Resorts Hotel Chain, a globally recognized brand in the tourism industry, will afford numerous prospects to the students of the Faculty of Tourism, Rector Çomaklı added that post-graduation employment opportunities, particularly internships, will become more accessible. Çomaklı asserted that students enrolled in the Faculty of Tourism can obtain valuable work experience through these and analogous collaborations: "By means of the protocol we have endorsed, our students shall acquire a more comprehensive understanding of business operations and enterprises." These agreements additionally contribute to the industry recognition of our faculty. In light of the foregoing, I extend my gratitude to the faculty administration, in particular the TUI Hotels & Resorts Hotel Chain family, and express my sincere hope for a fruitful collaboration.
