Atatürk University participated in the Turkish Universities Promotion Fair held in Köln, Germany and opened a promotion and information stand.

Atatürk University, which participated in the Internationalization of Higher Education and Turkish Diaspora Workshop on the first day of the fair and shared information about the studies carried out in this sense, enabled the youth and their families to have an idea about the University's formal and open education programs and graduate programs with the presentations it made within the scope of ATAYÖS-2022.

In the continuation of the fair, Atatürk University delegation, which made a series of visits, including the Essen Turkish Consulate General, Dortmund Turkish Education Center and Dortmund Municipality Culture Department, for international cooperation and internship programs, shared the works done within the scope of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project with the authorities of the institution.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Turgut Göğebakan said that in addition to providing the opportunity to present and promote education opportunities in Turkey to high school students in Germany, the visitors learned about international student admission processes, registration and scholarship opportunities.

Prof. Dr. Göğebakan said that the interest in both the stand set up at the fair and the meetings held afterwards was pleasing, adding that the change and transformation experienced by Atatürk University accelerated the internationalization process and that the steps taken as a result were met by the scientific and academic community around the world.

Emphasizing that the science center, which has left 65 years behind with this restructuring process under the leadership of Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, has become one of the few Research Universities in our country, Gökebakan stated that the education given by Atatürk University during this process was registered by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), noting that these were emphasized at the fair and university candidates and their relatives were very interested in the subject.
