You Are Currently At One Of The First Established Universities In Turkey.
Çomaklı: “I congratulate you on your choice for joining the Great Atatürk University family. You are currently at one of the first established universities in Turkey. Our university is a campus university within the social life culture where you can easily access everything you need. This city I mean Erzurum is the history where you see the university education and prologue of Turkey. You must know this city, where you see education. The future of a country is determined by trained manpower. For this reason, we accept the training of young people who are healthy in terms of spirit and body and who have a sense of responsibility as one of our most important tasks. For this reason, I hope you will be the trained manpower of your own countries.
The ruling powers that govern the world begin from the younger generations to transform societies. The shortest and most effective way to destroy the future of a society is to corrupt youth. I believe that you will protect the values of your own countries and stay away from the deteriorating nature of the earth. Thoughts, conscience do not accept emptiness. If you do not fill them with your national, spiritual values, other powers will fill them differently. You are the hope of your own countries. Don't let the Western powers direct you. Keep yourself and your values.
We decided to work together with reliable associations and representatives of business world with our universityfor you- our guest students- in Erzurum to recognize the ancient culture of Turkey. We carry out this in coordination with UDEF. I would like to express my thanks to ERVAK and BİRKONFED Administration, UDEF's very valuable volunteers and Provincial Migration Administration.
After the program Turkmen and Afghan students presented local clothes to the Rector Çomaklı, while the Rector Çomaklı gave some presents to the students.
