AN EVENT ENTITLED "PRODUCE LOCALLY, CONSUME LOCALLY" WAS ORGANIZED BY THE PRIVATE FOUNDATION SCHOOLS OF ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY.

The slogan "Produce Locally, Consume Locally" was implemented by the Atatürk University Private Foundation Schools this year to elevate the "Savings, Investment, and Turkish Goods Week" events to a more significant level.

The event, which was organized to emphasize the significance of domestic production and the preference for Turkish products, surpassed conventional celebrations and sought to raise awareness of the National Technology Move among students.

Atatürk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Türkez, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ufuk Okkay, Atatürk University Private Foundation Schools administrators, teachers, and numerous students and parents attended the event, which was organized under the leadership of Private Foundation Schools and with the support of the Erzurum Governorship. Domestically produced vehicles and equipment from the Turkish defense industry were showcased at the event, which provided a unique perspective on the domestic products week festivities.

Devrim and Togg Attracted the Most Attention

Visitors were especially impressed by Togg's display of domestically manufactured armored vehicles, police, and gendarmerie equipment in the event area. Furthermore, the technological projects that the students had devised were the subject of great interest at the stands. The participants held the painting "Devrim ve Togg" in high regard, as it was the outcome of a two-day study conducted by Visual Arts Teacher Mahmut Ergül.

Another noteworthy aspect of the event was the successful revival of the Nene Hatun concept by 9-year-old twin sisters Esmanur and Mehmet, who donned Erzurum bar attire. In this presentation, the young students illustrated the practical application of integrating technology with cultural values to safeguard them.

The Significance of Domestic Products

Students had the opportunity to closely examine the vehicles and equipment on exhibit throughout the event, and they occasionally gained experience by stepping inside the vehicles. The students' interests in technologies that are produced domestically were piqued by this experience.

Erdal Karagülle, Director of the Atatürk University Private Foundation Schools, stated that they developed a unique concept that differed from the traditional domestic goods week events. He stated, "We organized this event to educate our students about the significance of the National Technology Move and to raise awareness of this issue." I believe that our Erzurum Governorship provided us with the support necessary to create an unforgettable day in the minds of our children.

An Educational Experience That Will Never Be Forgotten

Students were able to re-experience the joy of comprehending the significance of domestic production and national technologies for the future of our nation at the conclusion of the program. This event, which underscored technological advancements and cultural values, both enhanced students' awareness and fortified their allegiance to our nation.

This significant event, which was organized by the Private Foundation Schools of Atatürk University, was assessed not only as a celebration but also as a significant step in the advancement of national values and technology into the future.
